Andy’s Pizza Old Town Brings NYC To DC
Hey there, fellow pizza lovers! This is Lily, and today I’m here to tell you about my recent pizza adventure at Andy’s Pizza Old Town during my spring break. As a proud New Yorker who knows a thing or two about good pizza, this place made me feel right at home.
Location and Ambiance
Located in Old Town, Alexandria, Andy’s Pizza is where you’ll find some seriously amazing NY-style pizza. The minute we stepped inside, we knew we were in for a treat. The dining room felt like a classic pizzeria with a mix of long tables for larger groups and smaller booths. We couldn’t help but remember our favorite local pizza places back in NYC as we looked at the sketches of the owner’s favorite New York pizzerias on the walls.
Andy’s Pizza Old Town Is The Real Deal
Andy’s Pizza knows how to make a killer pie, and their NY-style creations truly hit the spot. We dug into the Pepperoni Pie and Cheese Pie, and they were they the real deal! The crust had that perfect New York thickness, chewy yet foldable, just like we love it in the Big Apple. Each slice was generously topped with a sweet tomato sauce and melted cheese which made it impossible to resist having more than one slice.
Fun and Flavorful
Now, let’s talk about the extras that make Andy’s Pizza Old Town a winner. First off, they offer pizza by the slice – a true New Yorker’s dream. You can grab a slice and fold it just like we do back in NYC. Trust me, it’s an experience every pizza expert should have. And for my Dad who likes a good beer, there’s interesting beers to complement your cheesy feast and for my aunt, there’s a selection of wines and cocktails, too.
Pricing and Value
Andy’s Pizza Old Town offers good value for the quality they serve up. From the Fresh Brussels Sprouts, flash-fried and topped with Parmesan for $10, to their mouthwatering Whole Pies like the Pepperoni Pie for $25.50 and the Cheese Pie for $22.50 – there’s something for everyone’s taste and budget.
Service and Food Allergy Accommodations at Andy’s Pizza
And, Andy’s Pizza Old Town totally gets it when it comes to food allergies. As someone with sesame, nut, and shellfish allergies, I’m always a little cautious. Andy’s Pizza went above and beyond to accommodate my allergies without compromising taste or quality. It felt so good to indulge in slice after slice without worrying about my food allergies.
Final Thoughts
In summary, Andy’s Pizza Old Town hits all the right notes for an authentic NY-style pizza experience. As a born and raised New Yorker, I take my pizza seriously. It’s a place where families, friends, and pizza lovers of all ages can gather and create memories. So, if you find yourself craving some amazing NY-style pizza in the DC metropolitan area, head on over to Andy’s Pizza Old Town. Trust me, it’ll be a pizza party you won’t want to miss!
