Reflecting on Passover Tradition

As the time of year draws near, so many thoughts come to mind. For us, Passover is also about memories we’ve made over the years. We still laugh about my first Seder reading with the missing pages in the Hagaddah I chose that evening. And I still love seeing Lily’s excitement (and my own) about her grandmother’s famous, delicious Matzo Ball Soup. Every memory is one to store away for our next family holiday. Discovering Passover in my adult years, I’ve come to appreciate its essence. It’s a time for families to come together over dinner, sharing stories and feeling gratitude. Beyond the retelling of the history and traditions, Passover spans 8 days, offering moments for reflection and celebration. Beyond the initial rituals, Passover embraces customs that bind generations. Throughout, Jewish families may avoid leavened foods, opting instead for matzo, a symbolic flatbread, symbolizing both slavery and freedom.

Our post today aims to support your loved ones, friends, and colleagues in keeping kosher during the Passover holiday. First we’ll begin with some healthy DIY Passover snack ideas. Then we’ll look at some go-to-options we’ve found on Amazon to stock your pantry. We’ve also made sure to list the top 9 allergens in the description if they were listed in the ingredients list. If you or someone in your family or friend group has an allergy, please double check the ingredients, since they’re always changing!
